Data controller

EAACheck is run by Steffan (a sole proprietorship being established in Denmark).

What we store — and why

Your e-mail address — only if you enter it yourself. Purpose: to send you one message when the full report opens. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time via the deletion form below.
Scanned URLs and scan results — homepages you ask us to test (publicly available content). Purpose: to show you the result and improve the service. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service (art. 6(1)(f)).
IP addresses are used only for rate limiting in server memory and are never stored in the database.

We use no cookies and no tracking tools, and we never sell or share your data with third parties.

Retention

E-mails and scan data are deleted automatically no later than 12 months after registration (automated cleanup runs every night).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Processing outside our server

This site is served through a Cloudflare tunnel, so all traffic to and from the site passes through Cloudflare's infrastructure. Otherwise your data never leaves our server.
